Welcome to the club! Funky colours.

I also bought another bike this year which was (for the first time ever) not to replace another bike.

Seriously thinking about building a Pashley Guv'nor clone with the frame... for the Rat Rod Bikes.com annual build-off.

See, this would be a cool transformation:

Ha! You'll triple the value of the bike with just the bar and a Brooks.

I know, the cheapest set of wheels would cost more than the bike did new. Still, the point is to see if I can make something cool with it for little to no money.

Looks like you could get real close to the look of the Pashley but the fork definitely has to change.

Have fun. New bikes bring great joy.

walmart fixed gear. Hope the welds hold up. Could make a path racer if there is clearance in the rear. It's worth a shot. Why not find an old beach cruiser and slap the fat coaster wheels on it? strip the frame to bare steel and let it naturally age. Good rat-rod fodder.

Yes, you can do something fun with it! Make it into everything your LHT isn't!

That's the beauty of having more than one bike; you don't have to try to make The One Bike do everything.

Was thinking about a springer fork, possibly.

I checked it over, the welds don't look that bad, actually (and I've had a WM frame crack on me before). It has 38's on it, plenty of room. Absolutely no braze-ons, though. Not a problem, I have a welder...

Thinking about making it a "beater" fast bike, but pretty much anything I put on it will increase its value 500%.
