t shirts (jersey style) for commuting
 

Hey all,

I was wondering if anyone knew if any t shirts that have a longer tail, like cycling jerseys. Or perhaps some fitted t shirts that have more length at the bottom. I just don't want to be buying ludicrously huge t shirts. I do a lot of night cruising with my friends (aside from fitness riding), and jerseys are a bit too much for average city riding.

Sorry, I wear t-shirts that are t-shirt style. Never had a problem with tail length, so long as they're Hanes and not some other brand.

Or, you could just expose your dimpled ass for everyone behind you to see. Bonus points if you have lower back boobs to got with it.

Craft wicking base layer shirts definitely have a longer tail but might be more expensive than you want to pay, although you can often find them on sale. For less money, check out the Champion brand wicking t-shirts at Target. They are very inexpensive, work well, and seem to fit longer than many t-shirts.

I've bought a few t-shirts at threadless,and they seem to be a bit longer than most. Plus, they tend to have a lot of cycling themed shirts and new shirt designs are posted almost every day.

Oh we got one of these guys in this thread. Seems like they always have the need to crop dust everything out of their arseholes and hope a seed grows somewhere.

Too bad for you, I don't have a dimpled ass or back boobs.

I'll second Duluth's stuff.

But I actually prefer cycling in their "Buck Naked" shirts- very comfortable, very quick drying. And definitely long enough.

I have a couple of these and they work well for me.

Most of my riding t-shirts came from races that I ran. That's why I run races, for the free t-shirts. Do bike races give out free jerseys?

Go to Target, and look for Champion C9 shirts, sleeved or sleeveless. The ones marked "Running" have long tails. The "training" models also work well for cycling.

I use the Target c9 shirts as well, especially for mountain biking and sometimes as an under shirt when commuting. They work great.

Crop dusting is usually done to post-emergent plants, so the seed would have already grown.

Alterations, is a common home business, so, if needed,
things can be tailored for you , if off the peg cut does not satisfy.

The C9 shirts I use are ventilated and have retroreflective markings on them, and the price is hard to beat.

Soccer jerseys. (real ones)

They are made to stand up to the sweat and are long enough to tuck into your shorts. I ride almost year round in my collection of various national team jereys (Brazil, Argentina, Poland, etc.) tucked into my mountain bike shorts.

I've had good experiences with them all.

Most of the t-shirts in my closet are free ones for various microbreweries.

I don't even drink, they just show up in my closet. All part of living in the PNW, I guess. I am working on an order from Duluth trading company - I'll see how they fit.

Their products tend to run big. Remember they market them to tradsepeople, and the gut area tends to be larger than most.
