Question on Bordo Granit X-Plus 6500
 

Hey Guys,

I am looking at getting the Abus Bordo Granit X-Plus 6500 lock. What I like most about it is the ultimate in security but the easy transportation. However, that is the basis of my question. I cannot seem to find a good answer on whether or not you can mount the bag to the frame tubes without using the water bottle braze-ons. I do not want to give one of them up! I have a steel bike so all of the tubes are round and should be easy.

Also, what are people's general thoughts on this lock? It is the same weight as my current lock but this would be so much easier to transport if I can put it on any frame tube.
