Nashbar steel commuter sizing
Nashbar has a 20% off going on today, so I am thinking about ordering one of the steel commuters for my winter commuting bike.
Looking at sizes they have a 54,56 and 60cm. I typically would ride a 58cm road bike. Question is, with the more upright position of the nashbar commuter do I need to order the smaller 56cm frame it has an effective top tube length of 565mm? or should I go with the 60cm that has an effective top tube of 585mm? seat tube length jumps up from 560mm to 600mm between the 56 and 60, although I don't think stand-over will be an issue; I am 6'2 with a 34" inseam. Any input from current nashbar steel commuter owners? |
Thanks for the heads up on the sale. I think I will pull the trigger on one of these. At 5'10, I'm going with the 56cm. If I was your size, I would get the 60cm.

Well I went ahead and pulled the trigger on a 60cm.
I figured Worse case I'll have to install a shorter stem. Ill report back with pics next week. |
Wow, if I were looking for an IGH bike I would jump on this. $318.89 shipped.
