Nope.. You're the only one :p

Seriously, I've been passed at one time or another by just about everything.
I've found some of the oldster Freds can be surprising.
To my credit, I have yet to be passed by anything on training wheels or handlegrip tassles, but that time may be coming....

Yep...it happens.

When I got dropped by an older woman riding an English 3 speed with a horribly squeaky chain, I immediately scrapped my current bike and got a newer and faster version, and flat dropped her like a hot potato the next time we met.

I got passed by a cyclist going uphill last week. I was giving it all I had, and the guy just cruised by like it was nothing.
Some people are fast! I don't get it.

Some rollerbladers can go very, very fast. I had trouble catching up to one once, and I was probably doing about 17+ mph.

I was passed once by a rollerblader at 30-31 km/h.

I've passed bicycles whilst running, even on flat ground. But it was a family group. Those little kids were slow.

I'm sure I can run up hills as fast as I can bike up them, especially with all my heavy commuting junk. I don't even like to carry water when I run. And it sounds like the woman was doing hill intervals. The last time I did those, training for the Hood to Coast, I pulled a calf muscle on about the 7th rep. I don't usually run fast any more.

Last year when I first started riding, a rollerblader passed me. I have no idea how slow I was going because I didn't have a computer then, but it was very humbling.

I was drafting behind an inline skater the other day. He was over 6 feet tall, and was in full lycra. His skates looked amazing. Razor thin wheels, and super long. With his height, his stride took up the entire multi use trail. It was quite impressive. The guy looked professional. He kept a steady 18 mph pace for the entire four miles that I rode behind him.

I got passed by a turtle last week. Going downhill.

I had to walk my fixed gear up a steep hill once and while doing so passed a cyclist riding up it. He made a woeful comment.
