As I've said in previous posting to some other guy, who I can't blame for thinking it was an ad, I am a designer for the company. I have extremely little to do with the terminology, the brand and their product. I needed some insights and I guess it was put the wrong way but I am not their online marketer so I wasn't really thinking about every word I wrote. I will post an update on how the presentation went - I kind of over analyzed it, considering my position, but I wanted to impress the bosses. that's all bro.

I will, I just thought bikers overall would have an idea. As I said, I am not the usual biker so that's why I posted here. I will repost. Thanks!

It actually the ride was quite ok, if you avoid the fact that I was a bit worried about all the cars. My presentation however, completely overdone, I think I went into it a bit too much! Sorry, if my post looked too PR, I am a designer and I usually paste others words and write codes...I can totally see how it sounded a bit TOO AD:y :)

. . . also considering it was your first post on BF. See you are now trying to get your post count up. Classic shill, but could be wrong. Anyway, most people here actually like to push their own pedals, so don't take the general lack of interest the wrong way.

Maybe, they wanted you to do that so you'd really know what it is your company does.

You didn't tell them it was too expensive, too heavy and under-powered for riding in traffic did you? I'm wondering how they'd react if you commuted to work on a regular road bike. You do need a basis for comparison ...

Negative. I would happily fill my tank for less than $120 and take a road trip to Coos Bay, OR.

Good luck with the bike and let us know how it goes. I think you might have fun doing some of these things and then presenting the results to your team (pros and cons, what you did and did not like, etc.):

1. picking a route and doing it on both a regular bike and on your product
2. using the folding capabilities and taking the bike on a shopping or other trip using public transit part of the way
3. using the bike for errands, shopping, etc.
4. seeing if you feel more fit, lose weight, or get faster after riding for a month

Good luck!
