Interview - how'd I do?

I was interviewed by a local paper for the Atlanta area Bike to Work Challenge. https://www.northfulton.com/Articles-...lenge.html#123

Funny what they decide to use out of an interview, but I think it was ok.

It looks great. You can tell they wanted to write a positive piece, and except for the last line about not being a health nut, everything seemed to come off as a positive. I think I was in Roswell in the mid 80's for a few weeks for work, and only remember suburban sprawl. It sounds like things have changed for the better.

Good job. It doesn't come off as hippy-dippy or homeless or DUI, which is what everybody around me thinks an adult on a bike is.

Thanks. Even in the last four years I think it's improved tremendously.

The health nut thing was my fault, although he did paraphrase.

I don't see any problem with the last paraphrased quote. It gives me the impression your motivation is enlightened self-interest. Nothing wrong with that.
