Recommend a rear carrier light

Hey guys, I just ordered the Mako / CherryBomb 1 watt combo from Wiggle. I had looked at this product with interest last year and understood them to be fairly well reviewed. I can tell you I'm happy enough with a very bright "to be seen" light as my commute has city lighting. I lost my rear light today and it's getting dark fast so I quickly placed the order.

Like many of you, I'm going to want to mount the rear light to a carrier. Does this light mount easily enough? Did I make a decent choice (there may be a small window to cancel it)?

Any better (globally available) suggestions?

B&M makes some decent lights that are designed to be mounted to the rear rack. I've got a battery operated 4D Toplight myself. No blink/strobe, doesn't make as big of a 'puddle of light' as my Cherrybomb 1/2w, but it's a)big, b) noticeable from oblique angles, c) it is visible from a distance, and d) it can also act as a reflector if the unit fails for whatever reason. So many rear lights are active only and are of no use if the light isn't on...
