"flight of the bumblebee" would be great background music for your video. I know that's not exactly the type of feedback you were looking for but,...

I watched it, yes the whole thing, but without sound. Looks like you have some pretty nice areas for cycling. Must be pretty flat around there right? I would love that.

As for the video itself, it was a little hard to watch. Maybe next time just make the video longer, at normal speed. Or split them up into separate videos. Or maybe edit out parts and only show more interesting stuff if you want to keep it shorter but still at normal speed.

Too fast! Don't have to slow to normal speed but cut the time compression in half. Then again if you like it that fast then do it.

I think that if you (as suggested before), keep the video at normal speed and then edit out parts of the video where it's uninteresting (ex. waiting at stop lights etc) and just show off the scenery, it'd be a lot more enjoyable. Also, I personally prefer keeping the original audio in the video as opposed to music...if you do pick music, I think a calm piece would fit what's going on in the video more than rock.

I make the odd video myself. Not that I'm perfect mind you but I would:
1) only show really interesting bits, somewhat subjective of course
2) keep it under 2 minutes
3) anything by the Carpenters

Dang, its flat there. Must be nice.

I have had dreams like that.

Cool ride, but maybe tad bit too quick to enjoy.

Seeing that, the first thought that popped into my head (beyond the obvious "motion sick" feeling mentioned above) is that you have the sort of streets that I really hate on a bicycle; no shoulder and steep curb. It gives me nowhere to go, when I really need to get out of the way quick!

The music was a bit too slow and atmospheric for the speed of the video. I'm thinking switch it out for some old Slayer or something.

Nice flat area to cycle in, and lots of bike paths!

Have to agree with other posters that the video (along with the audio) made me a bit too edgy!
Other than that, the place looks fantastic for cycling.... haven't seen anything that flat since my ex's chest! lol

BTW, what video equipment did you use?

Actually I thought the music kind of fit the pace of the video.

Here's the thing. Make the kind of videos you want to see and use the music you want to hear.

Personally, I see my commute every day and have no real desire to record it for posterity. Not that there's anything unpleasant about my commute, but there's nothing particularly unusual about it either. The only exception might be a winter ride. Could be fun to watch a video of that in 20 years when I retire to Arizona.

1. I don't miss riding on US streets at all ... looks very tedious/boring/dangerous
2. I do however like the cyclepath. It would be better if it was divided with traffic lights, but it looks really low traffic, which can be quite nice some days.
