That's what I had thought too - but the SF based company said they won't provide any warranty at all - just a 7 day return. The ebay sellers promise a 6 month warranty (some promise 3) - but no warranty at all is not encouraging. Specially since this may not be QCed as well as some of the branded stuff.

Do you think these cheap Chinese headlights are any good? Does anyone have experience with them? I'm also looking for the best headlight I can buy. My budget is $150.
This one looks good but I'm worried about quality and durability. And I also prefer a light that has an internal battery instead of having to strap on battery packs and wires. Any recommendations?

Your budget is decent. You can get a couple of tactical flashlights, mounts, 4 cells, and a charger for that. Or you can look at the type of lights the various manufacturers have developed for commuters in mind, like the NiteRider Luminas, Lezyne *Drives, Cygolite ExpiliOns, and Light & Motion Urbans.

I ended up ordering a Cree XML 1200 lumens from Amazon today.
It should be a big improvement over my current PB 1-watt light.
