Modolo Dumbo Bars ....

Does anyone ride with Modolo Dumbo Bars?

I need to get different bars for my Surley Long Haul Trucker .... I suffer from serious back injury, and need to have bars that allow for a more upright position.

I only ride a few miles a week, mostly to the store (about seven miles round trip), and work part-time a few days a month (usually about six to eight miles round trip).

I would like to give these handlebars a try, but would also like to hear from anyone who has actually used the Modolo Dumbo Bars ....

Thanks.

Can you even find any? I see SJS in UK sold out of their inventory.. Many months ago..
now Nada/Zip.

the Kalloy ones and, similar ones Nashbar, etc. are $20, then you sort out the stem
to reposition them .. higher and closer

I have a couple ITM trekking bars, that is my set up.. higher [than the saddle] and closer..
so my most comfortable reach is the sides of the figure 8 bend.. flat, open, palmed ..
on thick double padded wrap.

I don't know what Modolo Dumbo Bars are but maybe just installing regular cruiser bike bars would be the most comfortable for you. If riding more upright make sure your saddle has the proper support also.
