Chicago Bike Shop Question

A few years ago I was in Chicago and visited a really great LBS. It was three floors and the top floor had folders and a small indoor track you could ride around. The people were really nice too. I can't remember the name and location. I just know that it was walking distance (long walking distance I think) from the Drake Hotel.

I'll be back in Chicago in two weeks and would like to stop in again. Any help please. Thanks.

Kozy's.

Agree. Sounds like the Kozy's on Milwaukee avenue. (NW Chicago)

^ but the OP said the store was within walking distance of the drake hotel.

the drake hotel is 6.3 miles away from kozy's milwaukee ave location.

that's a pretty long walk.

besides, the OP also said the bike shop had 3 floors and i don't think kozy's milwaukee location is 3 floors (but it's been a long time). i don't think i've ever been inside a 3 story bike shop.

But he did say a really long walk.

Let's not argue here. I'll give them a call when I get there. I also may have my hotel wrong. The conference used to be at the Palmer House so I don't really remember which hotel I walked from. Thanks for the input.

I'd wager a hot dog your hotel was nowhere near that kozy

If it's Chicago then I would guess the loser has to eat the hot dog?

could be the way the op would want it. winner picks... a win win for me.

a bike store on Michigan. I was just there as my waited for my train to arrive. It was ok but I dont think it was 3 stories.

How about Village Cycle at 1337 N. Wells. Haven't been there in a few years but sounds like the place. My GF bought a bike there and was very happy with the service she got.

Not if you're Andy Samberg, then you could just throw it on the ground.
