Its a rule that if you've lived in the valley for less than a year, you have to put a Mystery Spot bumper sticker on your car so everyone else can spot the newbie

This thread is great. The prisoner of the month is my favorite so far.
I can't remmember much but these come to mind:
'I didn't claw my way to the top of the food chain to eat vegetables !
And this is an inside joke for Missoula, MT:
'Highmark the M'
And personally I like 'Born OK the first time'. I see this one every day on my commute.

There was a mystery spot in Jackson Hole Wy also. I have heard that it is out of business now. For the sticker:
Lottery Tickets: For people too stupid to do the math.

I saw this somewhat smaller bumper sticker on the front bumper of a big rusty pickup truck:

"THINK FAST HIPPIE!"

How about
"My Dad is New Wave and Doesn't Know it" from the 1980's

"Next time you feel perfect, try walking on water"

"Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most"

"Don't laugh, your daughter may be in here"

"Don't laugh, at least it's paid for"

"It takes 5687 screws to put a car together but only one nut to take it apart" (or something to that affect)

If you can read this, thank a teacher (I am a teacher so I am biased)

"My other vehicle is unmanned."

It's actually a reference to my school's autonoumous areial robotics team, but it still gets plenty of comments from people who see it.

Haven't read the whole thread yet, but after 5 pages didn't see this one listed. Unforutnately, it looks like the site no longer exists: http://www.changingtheclimate.com

Basically, it's a bumper sticker put on other people's "cars" aka huge SUV's

When I lived out east, I would see bumper stickers around Boston that said;

"Wicked Good Bumpah Stickah"

Now in Anchorage, you see cars fending off the tourist approaches with:

"Don't Hassle Me - I'm Local"

I myself got 2 Kerry stickers from the local Dem HQ (yes, I paid for them too) and butchered them imaginatively, I put the flag upside down and did some stuff with the names, I forget exactly what I did but it was pretty good and looked like it was made that way - thank you X-acto knives! It was subtle enough that I'd not get my car firebombed by rabid types but get a good chuckle from the national review reading underground. I peeled it off the day after the election.
