"When something like 9/11 or Boston happens...." And what percentage of the deaths from those years were those?? I want to see the cold hard numbers, how many people die in car crashes each year? Cancer? There are much more important things to prevent before taking away peoples freedoms.
You can address #2 by having more mental health screenings and programs. #1 could have been prevented if anyone bothered to have any kind of security at airports.....oh gee IDK because sometimes planes can get hijacked???:crash: More military personal have died overseas than we had on 9-11 and our freedoms will be reduced to keep us "safer" oh but don't forget that they "Died for our freedoms!" ..........wait what?

M. If the phone is off with battery in, and it lasts a couple of days, up to a week before the battery is drained, the radio is pretty much off. |
Hmmn, with phone I had a few years ago, I simply removed the battery to turn it off and make sure it was really off; that was faster than holding down the button. Nowadays they've made the batteries much less accessible. I think it's a conspiracy.

don't think it has helped in any of these situations:
1) Finds a missing child, or 2) Prevents an unlicensed motor vehicle operator from driving and hitting us, or 3) Finds a stolen vehicle |

According to the 4th amendment of the Bill of Rights, the government has no right to collect personal data(On our person, property, papers and effects) without a warrant, and they need probable cause to get that......
Effects is a broad statement,on purpose. They wise old men that wrote it, knew there would be things later on that needed to be covered.Effects being ANYTHING that gets generated by something you do....that doesn't fit in the other 3 categories. I think that covers the internet. If you want to put your life on Facebook and the like,it's fair game.....But the powers that be SHOULD NOT be collecting personal data without a warrant. Big difference between volunteering information and big brother mining it "just in case". Big brother SHOULD NOT be storing info on all of us,WE HAVE COMMITTED NO CRIME! Before the web, would you let big brother in your house to collect every bit of info they could lay their hands on,on a daily basis? Then follow you around all day to check out your lifestyle, check out all your personal papers, how's the bank account doing, and anything else that crosses their minds?.....Remember,were here to protect you!....:).....(and use anything we might find against you when the time comes). No Thanks.....If I need your help,my people will call your people...... |
