When you forget to pack a clean pair of underwear with your work clothes...

Hop out of the workplace shower... Socks—check. Shirt—check. Pants—check. Belt—check. Clean underwear—F*%K!

Luckily, it was only 65º this morning, so I didn't sweat drench my riding undies... But, I didn't wear my Under Armour undies today... Swampy work day...

I only did this once before, and that morning was 80º, meaning commando in the office all day... Puts a whole different perspective on client meetings...

lol, I've done this a few times (although no shower at work, so clean undies are even more important). I usually just try to air them out as best as I can. One time it was on a day that it was raining. My underwear was soaked, so I ended up going commando. I don't think anyone noticed. I spend most of my day sitting at my desk writing code.

paper towels are your friend. I always used to use them in key areas as I cooled off after the shower. discreetly removing them before anyone else showed up at the office. you wouldn't want them falling out while walking around ... lol I used to work near a Dick's sporting goods so if I ever forgot a something I could just walk over and pick up a new whatever. I think I forgot socks once. maybe someone can give you a ride to a Walmart or something at lunch?

You work with dogs ? they sniff at butts.. people , most, dont.

Well, it's better than forgetting pants. Besides, going commando once in awhile is not the worst thing in the world.

If you have a place you can keep extra clothes, it's a good idea to take advantage of it.

I do work with dogs in our office! They did seem a little extra friendly with me this morning! Hahaha. And yes, I've stored the extra clothes at my desk, but, because I've used them before and forgot to replenish—now I'm paying the price. It's no big deal, just adds another unexpected facet to the workday.
tjspiel - yes, it is better than forgetting pants. When I ride to work, I ride with some cut-offs that would put Tobias's never-nude shorts to shame—those paired with a button down shirt may garner a few awkward glances. And I agree, I treat commando as a humorous learning experience.

I'm spoiled ... my office is in a mall ... if need be I can walk to Kohls for anything I've forgotten, clothes wise

I knew there was a reason that I don't even own a pair of underwear.

At my age, it's one less thing to forget.

I keep a spare pair of underwear and socks, and an undershirt in my desk for this very reason. I also keep a spare shirt/tie as well. You know what they say "two is one, and one is none".

This has happened to me twice, I think. I kind of enjoyed the ventilated feel of going commando. And when it came time to ride home, my underwear was dry and warm from hanging out by the computer fan (under my desk).
