CatEye Rapid 5

I use one with the saddle bracket. It works great.

He knew that...

You can probably attach a cateye reflex front safety light.

Never mind that it's not legal. It's not a good idea. Please don't do this.

No, No, No. White front, red rear. I like the cygolite hotshot for rear. Cygolite metro for front.

White light only when at anchor.

I like mine, but twice I had the lens pop off when going over rough patches of road. I now have a thin rubber band wrapped around it and haven't had any more problems with that. I do now have to keep a supply of rubber bands handy at home, and check them when I change the batteries. The rubber bands don't last too long out in the weather and I wonder if they diminish how effective the light is.

I do like how it looks like a reflector, I hope this keeps the thieves from noticing it. I wish they hadn't equipped it with a quick release tab and had instead fixed it permanently though. I'm tempted to try model glue on it.

Have to agree with those saying that it isn't a good idea to mount a white light rear facing though. FWIW, Cateye makes the same light in red, but there are better rear blinkies out there. I'm partial to the Mars 4.0

This is a horrible idea.

I hope you receive a ticket for improper lighting.

At a minimum, get a red flashing light (which is still illegal in most of the EU), if you want a "blinking" light.
