I would need the tide to go out and come in at the EXACT right moments. Would certainly look like a terrestrial creature trying to survive a fall into the water.

Difficult with under 15 PSI. I stand up every time to accelerate. Great training for geek hunting on my road bike tho. If I inflate to 20-30 PSI the tires are as hard as any ATB with street tires and my contact patch is less than an inch wide on tarmac. Secret weapon? Hardly. But much easier to zip around on than is suspected once I get rolling.

You're going to have a hard time finding something more demoralizing than that to pass geeks with unless you get something like a big wheel.

There is such a tiny overlap between the upper end of my limit on my Pug and the lower end of people riding time trial bikes that I think the Pugsley is a good stopping point. Even if I could scalp them on a razor scooter I think I might start losing sleep at some point, or just never overtaking anyone.

LOL I agree with this. I did try a couple very short triathlons that were organized in college but damn the swimming is hard to do and I never got close to finishing that portion. I swear I just sink like a boulder. Even though I weigh 30 lbs less than the last time I tried I doubt I'd do much better in the swimming portion. One of my bucket list items is finishing an entire tri even if its a short one. I should get working on that. Lol

Bicycle Repair Man !!!
Once they are rolling very little keeps them from rolling so losses there are minimized.
