flat and bike shop 50m away ... redux UK style

new flat set up in medival Yarm for the weekdays ... with a bike shop 50m away from the flat.

walking into town:

ironically this town is twinned with one in the mountains near Frankfurt in Germany

7 pubs within a km2 and two with almost proper Bavarian biergartens:

small shops with organic food and home-made chutney

gate off the main (high) street and cottage:

getting a second-hand cheap commuter to chain outside next to the terraced cottages ... nice bike has to stay inside.

driving a German car in the UK is an interesting experience with the wrong side of the road + driver on the wrong side (it captures a fair amount of attention in the North):
