1 Attachment(s)
Hi all. just wanted to post my ride that I rebuilt from a craigslist buy. Only cost me $25.00 +paint! It was a Motobecane Jubilee 100 mtb hardtail with fixed fork and all steel. I totaly stripped it down replaced all bearings and repainted it. I wanted to has an all around bike that would do well on the road as well as tackle any off road obstacles. AI'm upgrading the gear ratios to cover a litle more high and low gear. l am so far pleased wit this project. I love my bike! I cover 10 miles round trip daily. I hope to do sone day tours with it soon!

bjforrestal - I did install v-brakes from my previous bikes.

Sorry about crappy spelling. I'm using an Android keyboard. I don't have a drive side picture right now. I have a box store drive system right now. 38 toth chain ring/ 14-28 freewheel. Upgrading to 44 tooth chainring and 11-32 freewheel (if it'll fit)

That's a nice job; the difference between before and after is huge.

Thanks, it was a big cleanup job. Had to sand entire frame down prime, reprime, paint, paint again, clear coat, and install entire new head, handlebar, brakes wheels, seat, panier rack, crank, bottom bracket and crank system.

Well done, looks super classy and I bet it rides very smooth, and I'm glad you didn't have to buy all new parts and components.
