Tire Mileage.
How many miles do you get out of your commuter tires? Just curious what tire and how long they last you. If a thread like this is already in existence then please delete I searched but couldn't find one.

I don't know whether this is good or bad, but I have yet to "wear out" a tire. One has been put out of commission due to a sidewall tear, but apart from that I spread my 3-5,000 miles per year out over too many bikes to know.

Marathon 32s, about 9000 on the rear, unknown on the front - still haven't worn that one out and it's currently out of rotation.
Michelin Dynamic Sport 23s, dead at 830 miles. garbage.
Nashbar Prima II 23s that replace those, little sign of wear at 1500 miles.
Top Touring 2000 - about 3000 miles, thrown away due to cracking. They sat around for a few years before being used.
Nokian Hakkapeliitta W240 - unknown, I've never been able to see any wear on them after 3 winters use.
Right now I'm trying out some Nashbar Streetwise 35s on the slow bike. They just went on 100 miles ago though so it'll be a year or two before I have any info on them.
The Marathons were probably about the best deal - but it's hard to find just plain old Marathons. I bought the last set about 4 years ago and paid $26 each for them. The Nashbar tires were $13 each for the Prima 2 23s, $16 each for the Streetwise 35s. They seem like decent tires and are kevlar belted.

I ride in Metro NYC and despite using tires with little tread thickness to start with, have never worn out a tire on my commuter bike. Glass cuts, and wall fractures from potholes kill them off well before wear could become an issue.
OTOH, I did get 15,000 miles out of a front tire, but weather got to the walls and they failed while there was still some tread life left.

Regular Marathons 622 x 47mm. 5,000 miles on rear, 15,000 miles front, replaced when thread is down but not out, as a precaution from getting flats. Hardly ever get flats, and none requiring a fix in mid ride, for the last 15 years/approx. 60,000 miles.

Continental Contact 700c x 37mm, 5000 miles.
I was disappointed when they delaminated at 5000 but was told by many on this board that it was par.

I am running 700 x 32c Vittoria Randonneurs, they only have 2500 miles on them but I expect they will easily go another 2500 before needing to be replaced.

When I get home, I'll post a picture of the Kenda Kwick 700x30 tire on the back of my Bianchi that just rolled over 5,000 miles. I had no idea they would last this long.

All due respect but the OP really doesn't make it clear why or what information if any that you trying to discover here. There are so many variables that affect tire wear that useful data is not what you will get asking that question. What you will get is anecdotal stories and pictures from people riding lots of different bikes, in different conditions, with different styles, and different loads. Friendly sure, but ultimately useless if you are trying to discover data or patterns.
IMHO That only tires that matter are the ones I'm riding on any given day and on any given bike. On all my bikes regardless of the type, I ride, I keep an eye on the tires and I replace them when the wear causes a noticeable lack of performance, including the ability to ward off flats, or they get a gash that can't be repaired, or I want something with different ride characteristics.
Performance is my measurement of when to change. Mileage is not even a thought, nor would I even bother to track it.

Since I run skinnies I only get ~3-4K miles. I have to admit that I am kind of envious of the mileage you can get on on 35c and above tires...but not enough to make me want to switch.

Why? Curious
What Information? Tire brand/model and mileage when replaced
Hopefully this will make it more clear to you what I was after. If you look at what the other posters have posted you will see exactly what I am looking for. The pics are just a bonus.
EDIT: Can anything be done for fun or just out of curiosity? Is this place really this uptight all the time? I have read through literally dozens of threads that I thought where useless or a waste of space. I simply didn't respond because obviously it was important enough to the OP to take the time out of there busy lives to share with a bunch of total strangers that have one thing in common. I am fairly new to cycling but I am starting to clearly see why cyclists are mocked and looked down upon by most of society.

Sasquatch, just ignore the trolls, they can't eat you.
I can give a negative recommendation: I got some Vee Rubber V12 29x1.75 (700x50) so I could get as fat as possible on my CrossCheck; 500 miles and the center tread on the rear is half worn away. I took them back off to preserve them for trail riding next summer, and went back to my Conti CountryRides (700x37), which seem to be wearing very well, but I can't really say overall because I bought them used ($5 each!) in the first place.
Based on responses in this thread, I have now decided that my next pair of commuter tires will be Schwalbe Marathon (regular). Seems "Plus" or "Supreme" is not even necessary!

I've worn out plenty of tires before. When the outer layer starts to wear out and you see the layer underneath that then the tire has had enough. That tells you that you put a lot of miles on it. And you can't wait to wear out another one. The trick is to get the most mileage out of it with minimal flats. 16,000 miles on a tire is incredible. I may have to try that one out next.

My wire bead Schwalbe Marathon Mondials have over 5,000 miles on them so far. No real signs of wear yet. Not a single puncture.
I am pleased. :-)

So far with tires I have tracked mileage on (I switch tires around enough that I rarely have an accurate number here.
Conti Ultrasport around 1,500-2000 miles on a rear
Schwalbe Big Apples 26x2.35 3,000-4000 miles currently on the rear, starting to get worn out but still has a fair amount of life left.
Conti Grand Prix 4 seasons 2,500 ish miles for a rear
Schwalbe Marathon CX 4,000 miles or so on the rear with plenty of tread left, sold the bike which is why I got rid of them.
Conti Grand Prix 1,500 or so miles is usually what I got from a rear.

More important (to me) than high mileage from a given tire brand or size is relative freedom from flat tires, and better ride for someone who is more interested in comfort than speed.
