When I punch in my weight with gear it tells me to inflate my front tire to 64psi @ 23mm... I put 110-120 in my front, nearly double. I guess I prefer shooting rocks @ people over flatting out. ;) I like my tires hard on my road bikes.
On my commuter/gravel grinder I inflate to somewhere in between what the sidewall says. |

291 miles a week sounds like too many waking hours spent cycling, to me, regardless of whether or not you can manage it.
The e-bike aside... for the same $5800 you can buy a nice new 250cc motorbike or scooter and get to work in half an hour, and it will have the range. Or a used one and all the gas it will ever need. |

I run them at 115fr/120r on my Defy and they work great. They give me road tire performance but with extra width.

Drop the pressure to 80/90 for a week and see if you can tell a difference.
