Thule wing bar, dented, serious issue?

Hi,

I just bought a set of thule components to carry our bikes on the rooftop. When I received the package, there was a cut on the cardboard and there are two minor dents on the thule wing bars as shown in the photo. Returning something and getting replaced from amazon in Spain is a major pain so I would prefer to avoid it. I think this is not a major problem but I figure I could give it a quick check. I worry about lost strength of the profile and rust. Any opinions on this?

The idea is to commute from the bottom of the hill few times a week.
Thanks,
