Securing QR skewer without replacing them?

Securing QR skewer without replacing them?
Are there any good options for securing QR skewer without replacing it with either a) key/coded pinhead, pitlock zefal etc. etc.) lock systems, b) swapping nuts etc?
Let me explain a bit the reasoning behind my rather unusual request. I finally went car free, yay! and now I am using BOB trailer to shop in Costco. Actually with panniers, front rack it works pretty well 98% of the time. Thanks again for everybody's' help and encouragement to go this way!
The problem is that BOB is attached to a special rear axle skewer and it is QR. I can't just replace it with something else. See below:

So, to secure a rear wheel I need to secure BOB's QR lever to a frame. (I know I should use a U-lock to do so, and that is what I do, but I am using Kryptonite Mini-7 and some posts are not very cooperative). I found this old thread:

that suggests hose clamps, but maybe someone can recommend something else, hopefully purpose built?

You could cut most the QR release handle off, making it so you'd have to have pliers or vice grips to release it.
Wait on second look, are you even able to open QR with the bob attached which looks like you'd need Alan key

From the directions it looks like you could still remove the QR by loosening the nuts on the ends. I'd say just use a lock.

used to be a QR cam where you simply used an Allen wrench for a Handle..
they went with internal cam skewers.
Sure you can, just replace the QR axle with a solid one ,
then get the 'BoB nuts' for that solid axle.

Sounds about right, get a solid axle for the rear and then add these.

A trailer might not be as much of a target as a bike. But what do I know.

Wow, great! Thanks so much for the advice! Actually, I believe the person who sold me BOB also included the "nutz", so I just have to find them.

I have had two trailers stolen. One was attached to the bike which also got stolen, the other was locked to my front railing and was stolen. Another time I had my locked bike and attached trailer and went for a hike with my kids. When I got back, the trailer was almost off the bike, they must have been scared away. They did manage to rummage through the trailer and steal some stuff and stole the lights off the back of the trailer. Nothing is safe in this city.

Thanks a lot for the help. I was able to locate my bob nutz and by marking they are 3/8 26tpi, which looks to be quite "think". So, I was wondering how easy will it be to replace QR skewer with such solid axle? I would imagine it is not a simple - pull QR, insert axle, tighten Bob nutz...

Ok, unfortunately, that will not work. The problem is that I have Ritchey Zero hub, which cannot accept threaded axles (hollow axle?). Thanks for your advice, but I think back to hose clamp I go.

Consider cheaper wheels that will allow what you can find, . 10x1 thgread rear 9x1 front is common.
