Covering top of pipe-style seatpost on wet-weather bike?
I have a project bike in the works, that will be a single-speed used primarily for wet-weather riding, and it has a straight pipe-style seatpost. The saddle I've got on it at the moment (the most comfortable of the ones I have sitting around) has a hole in the middle, meaning that the open top of the seatpost is uncovered. To get the riding position I want, I have the saddle clamp on the front of the seatpost, so I'm guessing that most Laprade style seatposts won't work very well, and I don't see much in the way of zero-offset seatposts in a 25.4mm diameter...or at least, not in the price range I'm after. I'm trying to put as little money into this bike as possible while still achieving the desired functionality. Any ideas for plugging or covering the open top of the seatpost?

the cork is good, been there done that.
If not big enough Champagne, is better ( like for filling the bottom of 9/8 threadless steerer tubes)
