Sore Legs

This week has been a Bear. High winds, deep Snow to ride through and lots of hills had made my legs sore. Without using something that make me feel like I belong in a home, is there anything I can use to make my legs feel better?

You can use a day off the bike. Everybody needs one from time to time.

Potassium and protein. Look at body building and workout diets. I used to lift every day and soreness was a constant battle.

Just take an easy day. First two days of this week were windy for me. I had a big tailwind on Mon so I pushed hard and managed a KOM on a flat stretch. Yesterday was headwind both ways. My legs were sore coming down the stairs this morning so I made today an easy day. I rode both ways with about 20% less power. It takes a little longer but tomorrow my legs should be back to normal.

I find knocking off the beer for a day or two helps more than anything. Probably wouldn't be a bad idea to do that more often.

There's the carbs that moochems mentioned.

Unless you drink the watered down stuff.

:roflmao2: How would you ever discover that?

Two fingers of Bombay in that tonic water relieves brain cramps as well.
