Clothespin? Not like we are here to make a fashion statement.

Don't worry, there's already a bike-specific clothespin:

I had used metal cuffs my entire life until stumbling across these at an LBS a couple years back. Works just as well, just clip it to your pocket when you're off bike.

I used to use stapler. Usual stapler.
Generally, I have right clothes and not need for something such. But one my pants often stuck in chain. When I became tired of this, I strengthened pants leg by stapler. Of course it was disposable solution, but so easy.

French roll if you can't tuck them into socks.

Metal cuffs or "trouser clips" as they are called in the UK are best. they are much quicker to use than any other method.

There's always the plain old rubber band.

Some cages are worse than other in catching the cuffs and yours Topeak Modula is better than many other cages. Still better is Profile Design Kage. You can trim its bottom finger to make it less likely to catch your pants. Basically Kage solves the problem and can accommodate more bottle sizes than other cages though it is not as good in this as Modula.

Use something to secure your pant legs. I have the same problem. I've used old boot laces and rubber bands.

21st Century advice: Tuck those long shoe lace loops and loose ends underneath the other loops to prevent them from getting snagged in the chain or wrapped around the pedal cranks.

Guys, we've started to repeat variants. I think it's time to conclude.

Next variants were proposed:
  • shorts
  • cuff clips
  • band
  • take away holder
  • roll pants up
  • tuck a cuff into sock
  • use stapler
  • use right pants

let's know, what decision author made?

So what?
99% of the commuting threads and posts are repeat variations of "what is the ultimate bicycle/bicycle accessory?", "what should I buy?", or "do you guys like/approve of the bicycle/bicycle accessories that I just bought?"

I take my pants off and put them on the rear rack.
