Mirrors

I don't want to start a Flame War but I need a good handle bar type of mirror that can out live the rough roads in my area. All the Chip and Gravel roads do a number on most mirrors that I have bought over the years. Right now, I do good if I get two years out of a mirror before it starts to fall apart. Does anyone have any ideas of what mirror can stand up to the beating it gets on the rough road I must travel?

Throughout the years, I've had quite a few mirrors. All made by different companies. I've never had that problem...

"Take a look" mirror that go on sunglasses will solve your problem. Humans naturally stabilize images a little bit like chicken. So the impact of the rough road is reduced when your mirror is on your head vs your handle bar

This almost always screws me up! I've always veered to my left whenever I've tried to do that!

Ya just gotta have mirrors!

I meant swiveling your head with a glass / helmet mirror... but I also do a quick over the shoulder check before moving into a lane.
I actually feel naked without my helmet mirror...

D+D Oberlauda "ultralight german mirror". Mounts to any handlebar shape, or even a fork, rack, or frame tube.
$26 from Riv
$27 from Amazon.

Quality, wide view, stays where you adjust it.

He specifically asked for a handlebar mounted mirror and made it clear he didn't want to start a Flame War. That said, I vote for the Mountain Mirrycle. Hate the name; love the mirror.
