Neat new idea for a bike lock.

It's got built in motion detection and sends alerts when it gets jostled (adjustable through the app). More importantly, it can be set to detect sudden stops aka crashes and send an automatic alert. That alone makes it a decent value, although it's still pricey at ~$159.

I might pre-order one.

The locks at my local bike racks get jostled everytime someone locks up next to you. I can't even imagine the number of false alarms you'd get.
