P Clips for Ortlieb QL3 Mounting Bracket?

Hi All,

I picked up an Ortlieb Downtown Commuter bag at an REI Used Gear sale and the only problem with it is the P clips (part number e190?) are missing. I know I can buy the entire QL3 mounting set on OrtliebUSA.com, but I'm trying to find a way to just replace the P Clips. Any suggestions? The only websites I've been able to find that sell just the P clips are in Europe with exorbitant shipping, and Ortlieb customer service stated purchasing the entire mounting bracket replacement was the only option. I'm hoping they're wrong & would appreciate any help.

Thank you!

a P clip is a common way to secure a round pipe to a flat surface

hardware , auto supply and Etc.

send your staff interns out to get them .. if you are unfamiliar with hardware stores.

ortlieb specific parts are sold by ortlieb retail dealers.

Unfortunately, I am the intern...

I figured that was the case but I wanted to get some confirmation of that before I headed out blindly since going on multi-store/city-wide searches without a car is always a bit of a task, so I really appreciate your response!

Cheers.
