Tire sources, preferably Canadian

I'm having trouble getting a set of tires that I want, Continental Country Plus (700C x 47mm). I have found them online from a couple of places but one does not ship to Canada and BikeTiresDirect charges so much in shipping that it's almost the cost of a 3rd tire (I want 2 of them).

I'm willing to buy from anywhere as long as the price is reasonable. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.

Have you tried going to a LBS? They can probably order the tire for you (if they don't already have it in stock).

Mine was priced pretty competitively on the GatorSkins I bought.

Ours is not a large city, 3 LBS: one doesn't have it in their catalog, another doesn't deal with Conti tires, I haven't checked with the last yet but it is the pricey store.

The only alternative I can think of is to contact a shop in Toronto or even Barrie and see how much it'll cost to ship to you from there. Hopefully (fingers crossed!) that's cheaper.

$48CAD from Wiggle: Wiggle | Continental Country Plus City Road Tyre | City Tyres

I usually use Probikekit but have used ribble. I wouldn't hesitate to use wiggle. They all ship to Canada.

Yeah Schwalbe North America is in Victoria BC; they put orders on a ferry to WA to send orders USPS to points non-Canadian but are probably perfectly happy using Canada Post if that's where you are.
