Odd cargo

Yesterday afternoon I saw a cyclist up ahead of me that had some unrecognizable long things strapped to his back. As I got closer, I was surprised to see that they were a pair of crutches. He was quite speedy and nothing else suggested that he needed the crutches, but you gotta wonder.

My ankle and foot were injured to the point where I could not ambulate very well and without major pain. Once I could fit my foot into a cycling shoe, I could ride and even sprint almost like there was nothing wrong. My broken bones and tears and sprains did not affect my ability to pedal. I have healed but would rather limp in pain for the rest of my life and be able to ride pain free :-)

Odd maybe but when I walk or work on my bicycles I hurt a lot but I can get on my bike and ride with no pain at all.How I don't know just as long as I can ride I am happy.
