Here comes the cold

Just about to finish up at work here and hop on to the Cannondale and pedal my ass home in the first cold snap of the season (Also some pretty good winds kicking up out there today). This got me to thinking what kind of cold weather my fellow commuters are pedalling around in. We can have some cold stretches here for us which can go down to -10C but that is more of a rarity. I want to hear about the brave men, and women, who endure the power line snapping cold winters on 2 wheels.

Yea, today represents the last real "cool" weather, then tomorrow the chilly cold begins... tonight really if you wanna get technical. This time of year (mid november) is frustrating for me, because it can get into the 60's in the early afternoon but be near freezing overnight. Thankfully now that i have a proper working bike with panniers i can carry an assortment of hats or jackets.

Yeah - I know. Yesterday I had 37 degrees in the morning and 64 degrees on the way home. I don't ride every day, so I leave the cold-weather gear at the office, and then pick it up the next day as I don't have room in my panniers to bring everything home. I wish it would last...
