Blackburn used to make a copy of these years ago.I have a set that are mounted on my front wheel.I can't say that they made me any faster but you did notice how they blocked the wind.

I think having the weight higher would be more affecting your ride dynamic than wind resistance.

I know the panniers in the photo. Amazon says it will take 1 to 4 months to ship whatever that means. That turned me off.
