First he says the scientist are lying then sights scientist that schools should open.
I guess his opinions and the people he's criticizing are too entangled in politics.

You know what I'm sick of? It ain't the political BS cause I don't care. But I'm sick of not having my business open, not eating at a restaurant, not taking my daughter to the playground, my daughter not able to have play dates, not being able to see the new Mulan movie at the theater, I'm sick of my wife having to carry the weight of our household and being in public with people who are irresponsible and think it's all a "Hoax" simply to keep the donald from being re-elected.

If the USA had followed the examples of New Zealand, Australia, Vietnam, even China, then bars would be open, schools would be open, and life would be back to normal.

Tourism would still be rough with trying to avoid reimporting the disease, but there would at least be some countries welcoming us.

They have baseball in Taiwan, with decent crowds (10k) in the stadium, and no masks. Like a civilized country. (photo July 11, 2020)

This could have been us, with competent leadership.

And Rugby in New Zealand in June. They've had a few "imports" trickle in so I'm not sure if they're still doing this, but I think they're trying to control the imported cases with strict quarantines.

More popular than a Trump Rally in Tulsa.

There's overwhelming evidence that Chuck is older than his twitter pic.

I donít always take medical advice from a washed up, former host of a third rate TV game show, but when I do, itís not Chuck Woolery. Stay educated, my friends.

I was going to ride tonight but it was 108 today and I’m tired from last night’s ride so I iced down some brew going to water my plants and lawn drink beer and listen to some tunes. The yard is screaming for water. Then I will come up with a theory like my savior Chuck Woolery. I think I will listen to the medical experts....

Love Connection.

"We'll be back in two and two" was his catch phase.

Only Donald Trump would think that a washed up former game show host is a good source of info on Covid but health care professionals are not.

With today's hacking of the Twitter site I think a lot of the accounts are shut down. I got a surprise package from a long ago friend in Korea today that had two fifty packs of dental masks in it! They have virtually zero cases and I think he is telling me something... Just my take on it. Smiles, MH

The "blue check" twitter accounts that were paused to deal with the hack are back online. Chuck Woolery isn't.

Not sure you got his point--he was accusing people who act irresponsibly as some sort of political statement of prolonging the "inconvenience".

If I had to close my business, I'd be pissed at people who run around undermining all of the effects of social distancing because they think it's a political hoax.

I feel bad for Chuck Woolery's kid for getting COVID and for, uuhhhh, being Chuck Woolery's kid.

It's the covidenialists that are prolonging the lockdown and economic slump. Just look at countries that don't have this prevalent anti-science attitude - they're back to normal life (and not allowing Americans in).

You're right, livedarklions. I didn't read correctly and just scanned. texaspandj, I apologize. My weak defense is that I had to let go of weightlifting at Fitness19 today because so many patrons wouldn't wear masks. And texaspandj has nothing to do with this or my poor reading.

I just happened to see a blurb about this again today. Allegedly Woolery backtracked fairly quickly, as I read it implying Trump and his ilk pushed it out of context. He closed the account due to excessive and abusive backlash. Duh, who in their right mind tweets on a controversial subject and expects to not get flamed unless you enjoy being in the fray and want the attention as a publicity stunt. Still, even if he didn't explicitly state it was hoax, he's following the Republican playbook of trying to discredit every reputable institution we have. Fine if you want to call out some Democrats on some stuff as equally manipulative , but doctors, CDC, scientists? You might as well be calling it a hoax. Twitter is crap anyway. It scares the hell of me to think our country is full of followers that take direction from influencers. When my kids were in school their school district used Twitter as parallel way of notifying for school closings, early dismissal, sports updates... It was excellent for that. All these self absorbed people that tweet about themselves and every thought they have 24/7 and the people that worship them is just sickening, and one of them is our president. I would not be surprised, if there are people still around in the far future, that history will show social media was the downfall of civilization as we know it today.

Allegedly his son did contract it, but was asymptomatic.
