the NFL is trying to save ameriKa ... they keep juggling the NFL games .... the NFL scheduling algorithms are going to crash around week 10 ... the NFL season could be the last barrier ... if the NFL can't finish the season there will be no respite from bad news every day

Might be mercy for the Dallas Cowboys. South Texas’s football team. Horrible game against Arizona. I’m glad Kyler Murray stayed undefeated at Texas Stadium.

How is Dalton doing? That was a nasty, illegal hit he took. Next up are my Eagles, who had to struggle to beat the Giants. BTW...Did you see the Giants’ QB crash and burn on what should have been a certain touchdown?

The Giants QB stumbled over his own feet. His own teammates were laughing at him. Not sure how Dalton is doing but walking off the field was good. Not one Cowboy came to Dalton’s defense. Cowboys are a train wreck It’s Philadelphia’s division for the taking.
Wentz I think will get hot and play well 7-9 or 8-8 might be a good enough record to win the NFC East.

Yup, The Steelers will relax and Cowboys will sneak in a field goal. A wobbly ugly kick that just barely sneaks through.

Thinking about the NFL and was wondering if London England would support a permanent NFL team? Yes the air travel over many time zones but with a charter jet all decked out for comfort that shouldn’t be too much of an issue. Maybe the jet lag would be too much?

I think they have too many teams already, just relocate some (but that won't happen because $$$$$$$$) If they put a team in London i think the novelty will wear off really quick, the team will do more traveling than the Seattle Mariners and stink, then the fans won't really support them anymore and *yawn*

Wondering how the playoffs are going to happen as it seems there's a new team shutting down every other day. They can't say no to the $$$$$ so they will probably have fans like MLB did.

I would guess like a regular Covid era game. Better than nothing I guess.

I don't follow the NFL, but this story is bizarre. Four Denver Broncos QBs are out with covid.

All four Broncos quarterbacks will miss Sunday's game against the Saints, after starter Drew Lock and backups Brett Rypien and Blake Bortles were ruled out Saturday as close contacts of a COVID-19 positive test, sources told The Athletic, confirming multiple media reports. Lock, Rypien and Bortles were deemed close contacts to quarterback Jeff Driskel, who was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list earlier this week.
So who is going to play QB?

Early indications are that practice squad wide receiver Kendall Hinton will be heavily involved at the quarterback spot for the Broncos on Sunday. Hinton played QB at Wake Forest for parts of three seasons before converting to wide receiver full time. He completed 133 of 251 passes (53 percent) for 1,504 yards during his career with eight touchdowns and seven interceptions.

Reminds me of Manon Rheaume who played a couple of periods in goal in exhibition games for Tampa Bay in the NHL in the 90s.

I'd bet Mexico City before London. They play a game or two there each year and they come close to selling out Azteca Stadium (100,000 occupancy). its a 2hr-or-less flight from L.A., Texas, or Florida if anyone wanted make a long weekend vacation of it and include a game. Probably anywhere from 6-10 flights a day going there from just Los Angeles.

... the Ravens - Steelers game is now set for 12/1 ... the league is hanging on but each week it gets worse ... I cannot see how the NFL will be able to field quality games in Jan ... Denver was non competitive today and if the Ravens go down Tue it's the beginning the end

Denver was the message sent by Roger Goodell for these teams to get their dogs back on the porch.

asking athletes & entertainers to keep putting on games and events in these times is insane .... the COVID has saturated this country and our state & federal leaders refuse to make the HARD HARD calls .... only authoritarians can make and ENFORCE hard calls and even then there will always be a resistance
