There's a damn good reason why bars and places serving alcohol should be shut when Covid-19 is not under control in a community...... Alcohol induced hearing loss. Basically drunk people go deaf, so they inevitably start shouting, then with all the yelling, they have to step closer together to hear each other... no chance of stopping that, what with the lowered inhibitions and poor decision making that comes with being drunk. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2031886/

just picked up 2 30 packs of Keystone Light from the local beer cave. Everyone I saw was being cool wearing their masks and keeping a distance. Going to have few outside as I always do anyways in the boonies. Listen to football games and have a small campfire. Neighbors will show up but keep a social distance and outside. Small gathering to have some suds and tell some lies. 4-5 people max...

Couldn't we just merge and formalize the suggestion of Dr, Trump back in April with the best interests of drinking establishments? Simply require that those who enter not be allowed to leave until their blood alcohol reaches an antiseptic level for the virus.

Having a beer with my only friend the Snow Lady there is no way she has COVID-19. Will be some boring months ahead but hopefully this will pass. See what happens.
