I like the white one, the black looks too stealthy to me.

Clean in the summer with a 100mm 6deg stem.

Dirty race season with 120mm 0deg stem and saddle further forward.

It's a pretty beat race machine... I'd like to get some wheels for it really.

I'll throw in my new bike for submission. Yes, I am aware of the wonky brake cable routing on the left side. I'll take care of it whenever I go to rewrap the bars. 1970-something Royal Regina (made by Superia). Definitely on the low end of the spectrum, but rides nice, lugs are outlined in blue, and some surface rust and patina. Mafac Racer brakes, Sakae randonneuring handlebars. I also have matching Maxxis tires to put on at some point.

I'll say "Hot" for the simple fact the only thing it cost me were new external bb cups, so if I totally trash it, I won't really be out anything

I've got to rank it hot based on personal nostalgia. It reminds me of my old 1977 Gitane Gypsy Sport:

It was my first ss/fg bike. Like yours, it was a relatively low end frame but it had a nicer ride (at least on pavement) than either of the singlespeeds I've had since. I'm often sorry I sold it.

The nice thing about bikes like this at the lower end of the spectrum is that you can convert them to singlespeeds and prolong their life without offending the classic/vintage crowd.

nice!! I've got some rails to trails in mind up in MD when I go visit over the winter holidays. I'll swap out the saddle for my Cambium so i can put my Carradice on it and hopefully do a nice, extended ride or two on the NCRR trail

What stand is that? How does it attach to the crank? Thru-bolt? I don't guess you can turn the crank?

It would probably be in poor taste to offer criticism without being open to accept the same, so I'll post my gravel bike, a '15 Kinesis Racelight 4S dressed in Campagnolo Athena 11spd:

I don't think I, myself, consider it "hot" per se, but I do think it's very good-looking.
Probably gumwall rubber would help.

With that, I'll also hand out Hots for the thread-opening black Raleigh and the r/w&b All-City. Good looking bikes, though I have zero interest in single-speeds (for which I also set a lower bar of hotness because they're easier to make look cool).

These are handsome, and even interesting, but don't quite reach Hotness for me, perhaps because they're not quite unified right, and seem like considered, but mismatched, assemblages of parts. The frame debadging doesn't help, though I can clearly understand there is a particular aesthetic going on, which is cool.

Trek's best color scheme, which seems so full of potential hotness. Good looking as pictured.

You obviously have no sense of taste. That is a Brook's bag, therefore timelessly stylish and automatically hot...

lmao

It's a Scorpion stand...slides into the crank axle, you can spin the crank. $50, well worth it.

Sorry, I'm neither British, a subject, nor neurotic, so yeah, I didn't know about the auto-tasteful thing.

Thanks for the heads-up on the stand; sounds cool!

I do ride a road bike on that kind of trail. Sometimes I think cyclists get a bit carried away with all the new trends. But that's the fun of it all.
