Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

SES 6.7's

I am typically on a tri bike when I ride on the road. Someone stole my road bike awhile back and I have recently replaced it with a cross bike with cantilever brakes as I wanted something for more all-around for riding. I have a pair of Enve 6.7 clinchers I used to race on but they see limited action now. If I can stand the ridicule of my roadie buddies, any issues slapping them on my new cross bike with 25mm tires when i want to ride with the local road rides?

Enve CX wheels? If so they recommend 28 mm tires.

they are not CX wheels and I was only going to put them on for road rides. That was why I was going to roll 25mm.

The rim is 24mm wide, fitting a 25mm wide tire is not an issue. In theory a smaller diameter tire alters the handling of the bike, but I've never noticed an ill effects from using a 25mm tire on a Cyclocross bike.

I like a road bike tire that tolerates a little gravel, the Vittoria Pave is a great road bike tire for a Cyclocross bike;
