Cannondale CAADX: max tire size *with* full fenders?
Anyone using a recent CAADX with full coverage fenders? I'm looking specifically at the 2015 or newer CAADX 105 Disc, and something like the SKS Stingray, Longboard, or Bluemels fenders. (Or equivalent from Planet Bike, Honjo, whoever.)
Need to know if there's still enough clearance for a 35c tire with the fenders installed.
Thanks.

I have a 2015 CAADX 105 Disc with 45mm Planet Bike fenders and tires measuring 30mm. PB's website says that the fenders I have will accommodate up to 35mm tires. The fork is 50mm wide at the top, and the fenders I have could be raised a good 10-12mm higher, if necessary.

My Foundry Auger has similar clearance. It fits a 38 mm tire with SKS P45 (45 mm) fenders, but it's tight. It's happier with undersize tires; my Challenge Gravel Grinders (great tire) are marked 700 x 38, but measure around 36 mm. On this bike, I appreciate the extra clearance.
Other tires end up oversize. For example, Panaracer Gravel Kings (semi-knobby "SK" version). I had 32 mm GKs that measured 34 mm, and the 40 mm GKs measured almost 43 mm on my GF's bike. Perhaps they measure the casing with out considering the knobs?
