Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Michigan Gravel Race Series

Just passing along this link for the Michigan Gravel Race Series, linking up 8 existing gravel races in the state of Michigan. I'm looking forward to Melting Mann and Barry Roubaix, but I may try to hit a couple more of these events around the Grand Rapids area as well.

I saw the announcement on facebook. I've done the Barry roubaix a couple of years ago (on a borrowed bike) and it's a fantastic event. Worth the visit specially if the weather is good.
I'm trying to get my gravel bike before those events and I'm hoping to hit a few of them.

I did the Michigan Mountain Mayhem last year (40 mile route) and had an absolute blast. It was my first time doing a gravel "race" and was a great ride. I'm already planning on doing it again this year and just deciding on doing the 60 mile route or 40 mile route this time around.
