Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Nashbar says it is an EC70 SL3 but Easton only lists an EC70 SL, not an SL3. It is a lower model, closeout?
If it's a closeout then it's been closing out for at least over a year now.

I've bought some pretty nice Easton stuff from Nashbar for ~75% off. Usually it is something that is at the end of its lifecycle or has been updated with a newer version. When the difference between this year's model and last year's model is a couple hundred dollars, I'll take last year's model.

Easton also makes an Alum version of that bar for $89 I believe. Cant remember what I paid for mine.
I bought mine as soon as they came available. They work real well. I just couldn't afford to buy carbon.

You mean the Flaired EA70 AX (not the straight Nashbar version)?

Here it is in Aluminum for $89:

Interesting. It isn't linked or listed on their products page.

The EC70-SL is 80mm reach, 125mm drop and 220 grams

The EC70-SL3 is 75mm reach, 130mm drop, 230 grams.

Could be a non-current product. that would help explain the reduced pricing. I found it by Google search, not through the website menu.
