Notices
Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

No idea if it is a good price but I think Excel Sports has the right idea in putting together the bundle below. They clearly understand that people are asking for lower gears.

It could be a solution for someone looking for a little extra on the hills and thought I'd point it out. Upgrade that 28 tooth cassette to a fully supported 34 tooth solution with a click of a mouse. Boom. Done.

Good for them. I wonder if shimano will get the message and join the "road 1x" bandwagon...really, they just need to make STIs that support mountain derailleurs. Sram isn't complaining.

The price better be good because otherwise what’s the point? Just order the pieces separately for a better overall price..

I just priced it out and Excel has a very competitive price, right in line with the UK websites.

The price is especially good when ordering the HG800 11-34 cassette which is typically a few dollars more expensive.

They are US based company if that matters.

Certainly not a deal in the sense that its significantly cheaper than elsewhere.
But neat that its comparable to euro sites in cost.

Along those lines, ive noticed the costs have really equalized between overseas and local sites.
