Anyone using the Vittoria Terreno dry tires?

Notices
Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Anyone using the Vittoria Terreno dry tires?

Anyone using the Vittoria Terreno dry tires?

Iím interested to learn more about the Vittoria Terreno dry tires. Anyone using these? what is the actual width? Data on the 700x31 or 700x40 would be appreciated.

My mom has them on her cross bike which she uses for mixed surface riding. She says they are the best tire she's used yet. Not super helpful I know but at least there is one positive vote for them.

I've been running them for a month. Pacenti SL25 rims

The "700x40" is actually 700x38ish. There are no less than 3 separate slightly differing official sizing labels on the tire and retail the packaging. They work well for rails/trails or terrible urban pavement. Even pea gravel they can suit, since just about any treaded tire will lose grip in pea gravel as the tire width matters more. Tubeless wise they reseal well, so long as you keep sealant up.

Upside relative to Panaracer GKs...the bead really snaps in and holds even when deflated as these are TCS certified IIRC, which the Panaracers just don't and are not. They also don't pick up and spit gravel as much as the files do on GKs. which makes for happier pacelines...but conversely in wet/mud they'll spit more water/mud like a bald roadie tire would. Also as these actually measure smaller than the GKs, they're lighter but also have a lower circumference.

I use them at the moment on one of my bikes but will be going back to Schwalbe G-One. Good tires, a bit more hook in muddier conditions but don't roll as nice as G-Ones. I will measure them for you tomorrow
