Straight swap or sell Rotor 3D+ 165mm for Rotor 3D+ 172.5mm or 175mm

Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like :The Dirty Kanza". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Straight swap or sell Rotor 3D+ 165mm for Rotor 3D+ 172.5mm or 175mm

I made a bad purchase and am stuck with a 165mm Rotor 3D+ crankset without spider and am looking to swap for 172.5 or 175mm of the same type as I am putting together a new build with a Power2max NGeco power meter. I am also willing to sell the crank set for a reasonable price as I did use it for a few rides until I FINALLY realized my mistake of ordering the 165 instead of the 175. I just got the numbers switched in my head.

Have you tried to remove the P2M unit yet? Do you have the lockring tool? From what I hear this is very difficult as it is installed with Loctite from the factory. You may have to get a LBS to put some heat on the lockring with a hair dryer to get it off. Hopefully no damage to the lockring or threads.

I am trying to find a deal on a 110 spider and lockring tool, but it looks like it will cost me another $110 + shipping minimum to get these parts. Because of this, the most I could pay for this crank would be $150. Let me know if you still want to sell.

I did not have any issue besides a little elbow grease to remove the PM spider with the lockring tool. i would rather hold onto the cranks at this time unless it was with a better offer as I have someone wanting to do a swap as well.
