Personal Shopper Thread

Do you need help finding a specific product to purchase? Post in this thread and let's see if we can help.

I'll start with kind of a hard one: I've been shopping for handlebars for a few weeks and can't find anything that fits my criteria. I need 31.8 clamp, 38-42cm width at the hoods, shallow drop, 8 flare. The last part is the most important. Essentially I want the same handlebars that came on Diamondbacks 2016 gravel bikes. I asked the company and they do not sell them individually, do not know if there are OEM re-sellers and otherwise could not help.

I know the FSA Adventure Bars are a option at 12 but that's a little too wide and aggressive for my all-road bike. The Salsa Cowbell 3 is listed as 12 as well but appears significantly less than other 12 bars I've seen.

I'm after the analogue to the middle bar in this picture:

Here's how FSA measures:

And here's how Ritchey does it:

How about the 3T ergonova? It's 6 degree flare instead of 8 but that's not a huge difference, and otherwise fits your criteria.

Easton bars are either 4 or 16.

Hold your horses Satori X-Race Aero in a 42 is 6degree.

Short drop and reach.

Oval top and swept back design is good for the hands.

The carbon bar (around 220gm) is a good price.

I'm looking for an Ibex Bicicleta cycling cap, or the older model Coppi.

It seems like Ibex might be out of business.

I can't seem to google up any old stock except for a few sketchy websites which claim to have 7000 of them available.

I really like the look of that cap, the angle of the rear-bottom portion looks perfect for the ears.

Seems like the brand will continue to exist, but maybe not in the same way as before.

Thanks for the link @Lava.

I want wool with minimal or no brim and became aware of the Ibex today. Wish I could find one.

The Giro Ambient is similar but synthetic.

The Giro Winter Cap is merino and comes in cool colors but I don't like even that small(ish) brim.

I might order an Assos fuguCap_S7 just to try it on.

Any other thoughts would be appreciated.
