I committed a bike sin
I couldn’t talk the filth anymore. I got out my power washing and citric degreaser and gave the bike a bath. I was careful with the spray and now I have a shiny new looking bike. Actually I have been cleaning my bikes for years like this with no problems. After the wash I get out the leaf blower and dry the bike off. Now it’s time the get the gravel bike dirty again.

Nah, that’s not a bike sin. I wash my bikes all the time. Getting it dirty is fun and so is washing it.
Now, mixing Shimano and Campy components on the other hand...

Seems like a wast of electricity at a minimum.
A bucket of cold water and a rag works fine. A second rag dries the bike sufficiently and neither has the potential to force water past bearing seals.

Actually a good thread. I'm always amused by the extent people go to as to NOT use a pressure washer. Sure, don't hit the bearing areas with it, but everything else will benefit!
