Nordest Albarda Ti - one of a kind gravel bike
This bike is someting special : 420 mm chainstay and yet a 700x50c tire clerance. Titanium frame and unique geometry with very slack head angle (70) and big BB drop (85mm). Would you buy it?

Pretty slack HTA at 70 degrees with a 52mm fork rake. I get that HTA continues to creep towards Enduro MTB angles for some reason on many gravel frames, but just not really sure why. The angle of attack isnt as steep which provides for more stability, but I dont think I have been on my 72degree HTA gravel bike with 50mm rake and thought 'boy this angle of attack is simply too steep!'. Its always felt quite stable, predictable, and comfortable. Everyone is different though and this someone out there may want a nearing Enduro front end(not really, i get that Enduro is another 5ish deg slacker) gravel bike.
Seems like the kit should be purchased too since the fork is kinda unique with a 410mm A-C measurement. Cant say I have seen a lot of 410mm gravel forks.

Neat design to allow a 50mm tire in a 420mm chainstay with 68mm shell.

Very similar spec as my 2016 Vaya Ti, (except for that uber-slack head tube angle) and about half as expensive. Regarding the fork, Salsa says they'll soon be offering their new Waxwing fork separately. It's 405mm axle to crown.

Not really similar to the Vaya Ti at all. The Vaya has 450mm chainstays, quite a bit longer than this bike. The Vaya also has a much shorter top tube and a higher BB drop.

So how would this bike's handling be different than the Vaya? The Vaya is stable as a rock for me.

It's a freaking sweet looking bike but I wouldn't be able to handle a stack that high. It sure does look nice though, very premium.

They show the M size for someone 5'6 and it has a 602mm stack.
Not sure why they didnt keep the stack height increases up across the frame sizes from smallest to largest, or not sure why they didnt treat the smaller frames to the same generally proportional stack height for the largest frame.
a 626 stack height for someone 6'4 would work for some, but thats probably on the low end for what this sort of bike is meant to be as it isnt a CX race frame.
evei more Interesting geometry than what i first saw.

420mm is a really short back end, they had to bend with seat tube to make it work. Kind of a hinky geo, but I do like titanium...they stuck with flat-mount brakes (nice), but then used an RD hanger instead of direct-mounting (grr)

You know you can pay 150eu extra for custom geometry right? That is cheap compared to what's out there.
Also the 410mm A-C fork is for when you use a non-tapered steerer. The stock tapered steerer fork is 400mm A-C.

I like the low BB, could probably go even lower with that size tires. I don't need a HT near that slack though. The price is actually kinda good, even with shipping to the US, considering it's a TI frame.
I'm not in the market for a new bike at the moment, but this is pretty darn cool. I only wish it were possible to test ride things like that before sinking serious money into it.
