Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like :The Dirty Kanza". New Santa Cruz Stigmata

It looks like Santa Cruz is jumping on the gravel band wagon with their brand new Stigmata. It has larger tire clearance up to 700x45 or 650bx2.1, 3 bottle mounts, and fender mounts. The geometry looks the same from the second gen to this new generation. https://www.santacruzbicycles.com/en-US/stigmata

I have a 2nd gen Stigmata currently. It's the most comfortable bike I've ever owned and it's fast! This bike looks really tempting!

+ Ultegra (non-SRAM) option

I love my second gen Stigmata. So comfortable and snappy. I've taken it on some gnarly trails (rock gardens) not meant for a gravel bike at all and it's handled it all. Plus the best warranty in the business doesn't hurt.

Holy thread resurrection, Batman!

Had a chance to ride a Stigmata at an LBS over the weekend. It was a bit too big for me at 54cm (I'm 52) but even accounting for that I thought it was a very nice ride. Great combination of being able to handle badly paved roads and light gravel, while still managing to feel fast for a gravel/CC frame.

I will say the colors look much better in person. I'm a bit partial to the yellow, because it's gloss, whereas the olive green is matte. But I would be proud to ride either color.

I agree, the colors are nice now that I have seen them in person as well - don't pay attention to my earlier comment. I would like either color but probably partial to the yellow also.

I'm actually going to a shop about 30 miles from me that partners with Pros Closet. I'm trading in two bikes which I no longer ride (one complete bike and one frame-only) that will get me most of the way to the cost of the Stigmata frameset.

My size is currently not in stock but expected at month's end. Then I'll move over my entire Di2 (stripped from the frame I'm trading in) to the Stigmata, along with my Bontrager Aeolus Pro 3 wheels (which can accommodate up to 45c tires), the bar, stem and seat from my old bike. I'll have to buy some accessories (like a front derailleur strap mount, and a seatpost) but then should have a pretty sweet build for my first gravel bike in early December. I'm definitely leaning heavily to the yellow, as I slightly prefer the color to the green, but greatly prefer the gloss to the matte aspect.

Prior to getting mine back in June I told them I'd take the first color available, but hoping it would be green. I got yellow and love it. Never saw the green.

I have the yellow one. I second that you can throw some serious mtb-pathes at it and it will swallow them nicely.
I have raceface rims, dtswiss hubs, 1x12 SRAM AXS groupset (force cranks, xx1 at the wheel) and otherwise easton parts and it flies!
