Need gearing help with Diverge

Hi everyone, I'm having some trouble changing the gearing on my Diverge with stock 2x 11-34 gearing with CS-HG700-11 rear cassette. Current gearing: 11-13-15-17-19-21-23-25-27-30-34

I need less gap between the smaller gears, the current 15-13-11 on the road is too wide, I would love 15-14-13-12-11. Since it's 2x I am fine going smaller than the 34 since I'll still be plenty low enough for offroad.

I bought a CS-R7000 11-30 rear, unfortunately the 11th gear doesn't fit, I didn't realize that the CS-HG is offset on the largest 3 gears. Does anyone know of alternatives?

I tried taking off the 25 from the stock and putting on a 12 but that didn't cut it, the chain kept skipping. I assume the CS-R sprockets aren't compatible with CS-HG.

Thanks!! Is this is direct replacement to the stock one, or do I need to do some shimming or anything to get them all to shift left a little?

Thank you very much!!

Since you know this cassette, is there any reason why I wasn't able to take out the 25 and add a 12 from the CS-R7000? The sprockets looked the same other than the HG having slightly different teeth. I thought swapping one and giving it a test ride would be a good idea to see if I liked the spacing.
