Does Specialized SCS Apply to Front Wheel?

Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". Does Specialized SCS Apply to Front Wheel?

TYIA for answering my question. I searched through the forum, but couldn't find anything.
Yesterday I took a crash and destroyed mt front wheel. Axis SCS 3.0 (Stock on 2016 Specialized Diverge Comp).
I am new to disc brakes and after several heart issues which kept me off my Diverge for a couple of years, started riding again.
I am having a lot of problems trying to find an Axis SCS (or any brand) replacement SCS front wheel. I have been reading up on the SCS issues for the rear wheel and plan to pickup a non-SCS hangar, when I replace the rear wheel, but for the front wheel will any brand "through the axle" 700cc front wheel work, or do I need to find an SCS?
Thank you.
Rick

SCS only affects the rear wheel. You can put in any front wheel with the correct thru-axle size.

If you ever need to replace the rear wheel, you can get a no-SCS dropout from specialized and then use a non-SCS rear wheel, though it is not ideal.

Thank you. As I am looking at my front axle it is a through axle for a disc wheel. The outside diameter looks like 12mm when I measure at the threaded end, but I see many replacement wheels with 15mm through axles. I think I will go with my gut and purchase a replacement 12mmx1000mm replacement 700cc wheel. Thoughts anyone?
TIA
